We are looking for a Project Development Manager to join our busy team!
Reporting to the Head of Projects, the Project Development Manager’s role is to manage
delivery of new build and capital refurbishment projects and initiatives to support delivery of WASPS Business Plan.
The role encompasses all aspects of capital project development,
fundraising and delivery, from concept to completion, to support the creation of affordable
studio space, and associated facilities, for artists and creative industries across Scotland.
Our future plans are exciting! We have been implementing a five year business plan to expand our studio network across Scotland by developing 7 buildings, with the final two now on site. We have been using our expertise in the property sector to provide workspaces for commercial creative companies alongside artists in creative hubs, with the profit from this venture being reinvested back into our charitable work. This growth in scale has enabled us to become a fully self-financing charity and social enterprise. We are now working to deliver creative hubs in Scotland’s three smaller cities – Inverness, Perth and Stirling.
Duties of this role include developing and managing delivery of capital projects to create new facilities for artists and creative industries across Scotland and ensuring through links with local communities that the widest possible social and community impact can be achieved through each capital project delivered by Wasps.
