The Space is a purpose built dance, drama and conference centre, which is the home of the Scottish School of Contemporary Dance. Its facilities include a flexible theatre space, 3 dance studios, conference, exhibition and educational facilities, seminar rooms, bar, catering facilities, dressing, wardrobe and further ancillary accommodation. The whole building is highly flexible in order to accommodate such a wide selection of uses. Staff and students use every inch of the building artistically adding dramatically to its vitality. The Space has proven highly successful architecturally having picked up 8 major awards and is a dynamic and intensively used facility.
