New Office and Workshop Facility

Munro Architects Ltd

Scottish Enterprise sought to create two new buildings that would reflect their dynamic approach to developing and promoting Prestwick International Aerospace Park. The buildings were to comprise offices and industrial workshop spaces to cater solely for airport related business. Extensive glazing was introduced to create a high quality appearance coupled with a over sailing canopy and brises soleil offering shading and in turn avoiding solar gain. The final appearance is a slick, dynamic building with subtle references to the aerospace industry through the floating roof, the fin shaped brises soleil and the metallic finish to the majority of the materials.
