The eaves level fronting the street is kept low in context with neighbouring single storey houses, while the west facing rear is elevated to give extensive views to the woods. Glazed curtain walling with sliding doors open out onto a deck at upper floor level - designed as a single open plan living area - to take full advantage of this outlook.
