This project involved the creation of a new house within the garden ground of the family home. Sutherland Road comprises a collection of large stone built detached villas close to the boundary of the Conservation Area.
This 3 bedroom house is modest in size and adopts traditional proportions whilst utilising a mix of stone, smooth render and larch cladding. The front elevation presents a formal façade to the streetscape, continuing the building line, whilst the rear opens to the private garden with large areas of glazing and a glazed covered canopy.
