Our clients love their natural garden and appointed Inkdesign to improve the property's Southern aspect, suggesting some form of retreat from the rest of the house. A timber box was proposed to the side of the existing house to accommodate a tranquil and bright living space to the rear garden and a discrete scullery and shower room towards the front. A low maintenance green roof extends the meadow-like garden. The roof has been purposefully raised to create a wrapping clerestorey window, offering abundant daylighting. A bay of floor to ceiling glazing provides a door onto the terrace for improved access to the garden.
