During a four-year framework with the City of Edinburgh Council we were involved in a variety of stonework and roofing replacement works required under Statutory Notice. A number of these involved Listed Buildings located within the World Heritage Site. The project at 22-30 Shandwick Place was the largest and most prominent of these and involved the taking down and rebuilding of two three-storey bay windows to the front facade plus extensive replacement of intricate carved panels and cornices. A significant grant was awarded by Edinburgh World Heritage Trust to assist in the cost of the work.
