Os Lair Boathouse

There was an existing boathouse at Os Lair with one large studio held within an A frame. The brief was to increase the accommodation to include 3 bedrooms. The pitch of the roof was raised and the structure was cantilevered out at the sides to provide more usable space and also to make the most of the breathtaking views of the loch. The boathouse is highly insulated and has solar panels on the south facing roof.
