Queens Crescent

Domus Design

Due to the original layout of the house the original Kitchen/Dining and Maids rooms were isolated from the rest of the house. The ingenious idea was to form a new corridor from the main stairwell at ground floor level, to link up with all these isolated rooms. Ground floor extensions were added to provide kitchen, utility, dining and family spaces. The traditional double pitch 'Edinburgh' roof central valley was removed to create expanded bedrooms with en-suites in the attic level. The entire house services installations were replaced and the whole house refurbished with a completely new slated roof.
