The project involved the erection of a new boathouse, slipway, decking and timber pier on the west shore of Loch Awe.
A masonry base allowed for fluctuating loch levels supporting a timber superstructure clad in Scottish oak in natural weather finish, with circular feature windows to each gable and metal corrugated roof. The boathouse aligned with a green oak deck and douglas fir piled pier structure to enable the family to enjoy water sports activities during the summer months.
Landscaping of the foreshore garden allowed loch views from the main house and a setting for boathouse, decking and pier.
