CDAL enjoy working with clients who wish to live or work with a proximity to nature and greenspace, with the aim of making delightful, sustainable and efficient buildings. We make characterful spaces and places for living, learning, working and relaxing, where our creative and sensitive approach can improve the wellbeing of our everyday lives.

As a practice we look to understand the most practical issues of a project while creating a unique and distinctive architectural character and atmosphere for each design proposal. We believe that good buildings are made by listening and understanding the users in an honest manner and leading the responses to these requirements practically, but with joy and imagination.

We are interested in working across Scotland and comfortable with working for both private or public clients as well as cooperatives or community organisations.
