The competition winning design concept was structured around two distinct but related buildings, each being developed in response to the brief and Campus masterplan. The Administration Building, to the south, forms a focal point from the Metro Station and Campus entrance. The Teaching/Research Building, to the north, relates to the Library. Although the two buildings accommodate different functions, the design approach allows them to be perceived as 'twins'. In both buildings the interior is carved out - creating rich spaces which form courtyards, atria, gardens - sheltered by the sloping roofs and interacting with the lake and newly created landscaped areas.
