Alterations and Extension, Glenbranter

Arbour

The clients were very fond of their old holiday cottage but needed additional space. The roof space, containing two small bedrooms, was very cramped. The new extension allowed the back of the old roof to be removed and a flat roofed connection made to open up space within the first floor. A new entrance lobby and stair are provided in the extension allowing freedom in the kitchen/dining/living arrangement in the old cottage. The appearance of the front of the old cottage remains unaltered. The previously unused attic over the kitchen has been brought into use as a study.
