Selby House

am architect

On the site of an old parking garage, Selby House was a real challenge to design and construct as the site was small and rhombus shaped. In a conservation area, this 3 bedroom house is designed to both respect the previous garage by marking the main building lines as part of the elevation pattern and to ensure an appropriately scaled house with contemporary design was introduced to this city centre site. The main rooms all front the garden side and both the garden and 1st floor balcony area ensure the house allows private and garden living.
