7N Architects

"Phoenix Flowers", Garscube Link is the first phase of a regeneration framework for Speirs Locks. The framework is focused on a regeneration strategy entitled "Growing the Place" which seeks to transform negative perceptions of the area by cultivating a set of physical and economic circumstances which encourage colonisation by creative groups which will drive the regeneration of the wider area. Awarded SSCI status (Scottish Sustainable Community Initiative) in 2009 and awarded the BURA Award for Strategy and Masterplanning in 2009. Phoenix Flowers awarded the Gold Roses Design Award for Placemaking in 2010 and a Scottish Design Award in 2010.
