Project Description

The project is about creating a space for the exploration of architectural design relating to learning environments. Where concepts are brought into reality and educational psychology, buildings, curriculum and teaching methodology can be explored, to further develop our understanding of how people learn, and the effect physical surroundings have on human behaviour. Creating a place of research, discovery, consultation and reference that brings together children, teachers and researchers, to learn and benefit from one another.

The facility located outside Bridge of Allan aims to create an Expo of good design using pavilions relating to 4 age categories, including Kindergarten (chosen category), Primary school, High school and College over 6 areas on site. Eventually establishing a manual of good practise for both educators and designers.
