Based on the Isle of Benbecula, we are privileged to work in stunning locations across the Outer Hebrides and Scottish west coast. With an extremely varied client base, projects range from small-scale alterations to large new-build developments in the domestic, arts, heritage, community, commercial, and industrial sectors, with contract values from < £100k to £5M+.
With a strongly contemporary design ethos, we promote a culture of excellence through intelligent, imaginative design. Environmental, economic and social sustainability is intrinsic to our work - including our in-house-designed, innovative, ecological construction system. We are also skilled in sensitively breathing new life into old (including Listed) buildings.
Working at the forefront of truly environmentally sustainable design, you will participate in all aspects of project delivery, as an articulate and creative collaborator, within our close-knit team – someone who relishes the challenges of a varied and fast-paced working environment. You will contribute to the development of our in-house construction system, including regular contact with our sister company’s construction team. You will drive projects from inception to completion, with appropriate support, so you will be proactive in your work and professional development. Experience in practice is desirable.
You should be proficient in Revit (or transferable knowledge of other BIM software eg Vectorworks and ArchiCAD), plus AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite. Excellent visual presentation skills are essential.
Full driving licence essential. Own transport desirable. Travel may be required throughout the Outer Hebrides and Scottish mainland. You must have the right to work in the UK.
