About the project

An early project to form a new office space for Landressy Day Centre located within the Grade B Listed Bridgeton Library. The office provided desk space for 3 members of staff for general administrative purposes and to conduct private interviews. Curved timber cladding at low level referenced materials within the main space and was punctuated with small windows and incorporated built-in file storage internally. The ceiling lifted towards the front of the office to maximise borrowed light from the large existing windows to the north and to provide a visual connection between the office and the main space.
