About the practice

Gray, Marshall and Associates has over thirty years experience in depth of conserving, upgrading and converting many of Scotland's finest listed buildings. Both partners, Alan Marshall and Jocelyn Cunliffe, are accredited Conservation Architects (RIAS Advanced Level). We seek imaginative solutions for the sustainable re-use of valuable structures and enjoy combining good conservation with contemporary design. The practice undertakes specialist conservation studies and conservation area appraisals. Our award-winning projects include arts/cultural buildings, offices, churches, housing, individual houses and health care projects. Sustainable design principles are fundamental to our approach. Many projects received grants.
