Martin Jones Scholarship Award 2022

Architecture at the University of Dundee and the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland (RIAS) are pleased to announce the launch of the Martin Jones Scholarship Award - 2022
Martin Jones specified that he wished to provide an opportunity for an outstanding student or graduate of Architecture at the University of Dundee, to pursue a personal line of creative investigation and research.
Applicants must be students or graduates of the University of Dundee School of Architecture.
The application submission date is 3 October 2022
The application should include the following information submitted digitally which will form the evidence for consideration by the Assessors Group:
- An application form with details of the applicant and/ or the team.
- A written Statement of 1000 words.
- Supporting visual material or information to support the application (especially if the application is for a visual/digital form of research)
The written statement should clarify:
- The scope and objectives of the study
- A summary of the argument which justifies the study
- A proposed structure for the study including a projected itinerary of visits, drafts and completion dates
- A summary of pertinent study undertaken to date.
In 2022 the RIAS have allocated £10,000 towards the Scholarship Award. The RIAS may award more than one Scholarship from this fund. The Scholarship Awards will be paid over two years.
