The 104th AGM of the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland will be held at 13.00 on Wednesday 30th June 2021 using online video conferencing platform, Zoom.
In response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, and the Scottish Government’s guidance limiting public gatherings, this year’s AGM is once again to be held using an online video conferencing platform, Zoom. Chartered members are being asked to submit their votes via an online voting facility, ahead of the meeting and the decisions announced on the day.
Entitled to Vote
All Members are welcome to attend the AGM, however only Chartered Members (including retirees) are entitled to vote. Those not currently entitled to vote are: Students, Associates (architectural graduates working towards their Part 3), Affiliates and Honorary Fellows.
How to Vote
If you are eligible to vote, details of how to vote will have been provided within the email/letter you have received. Chartered Members are being asked to vote on the following:
• Approval of the Minutes of the AGM 30th June 2020 (you have been provided with this document)
• Approval of the Trustees Annual Report and Accounts for the Year Ending 31 December 2020 (you have been provided with this document)
• Appointment of the RIAS President 2021
• Election of Incorporation Representatives (Nationally Elected) on Council/Trustees for 2021
• Appointment of Auditors
The format of the event means that responding to questions on the day will be limited. Members are therefore encouraged to submit questions in advance of the AGM which will be answered on the day by the President.
