Anniesland College commissioned RIAS Consultancy from the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland to manage a quality based selection procedure for the appointment of a multi- disciplinary design team for its proposed new campus development.
We were appointed to advise Anniesland College in respect of the procedures to be followed for a selection process under EU Procurement Rules. Anniesland College adopted a competitive interview process linked to a balance of quality and price to identify the consultant offering best value.
The value of the project was estimated to exceed EU Procurement thresholds above which publicly funded projects must be advertised in the Official Journal of European Union. An OJEU Notice under the “restricted procedure” was prepared by RIAS Consultancy and lodged in the Official Journal.
Gardiner & Theobald were appointed Project Managers.
