Changes in 2012: make sure that you register in April
Architect in the House, the annual charitable scheme that sees RIAS and RIBA architects giving homeowners an hour’s free consultation in exchange for a donation to Shelter, launches on 16 April.
To avoid missing out on consultations, please register at the earliest possible opportunity from this date. In 2012, for the first time, Architect in the House includes continuous matching – where homeowners are matched with architects regularly throughout the scheme rather than when registration closes in early July.
This important modification gives homeowners much more immediate access to the services of an architect and, we hope, will increase numbers registering. So that we are able to match you with homeowners from early May, please ensure that you have registered at www.architectinthehouse.org.uk by the end of April.
Over the past 15 years, RIAS and RIBA architects have raised more than £1.2million for Shelter. Please get behind the scheme again and support Shelter’s vital work with families in housing need.
