POST & PACKING
Subject to stock availability, orders are normally despatched the same day, provided the order is received before 2.00pm.
Online UK Orders with a net value of £50 or over receive Free Post & Packing. Otherwise Post and Packing is charged at 10% of the order value of UK orders and 20% of the net value for overseas orders, subject to a minimum charge of £1 (+VAT). Overseas orders may take 7-21 working days.
Within the UK, goods weighing less than 1kg are sent by First Class post, while those weighing more than 1kg are sent by 1-2 day courier service.

If we are unable to deliver the goods within 30 days, the customer will be informed and advised of the amended date, with the opportunity of claiming a full refund.

ORDER CONFIRMATION
Each order will be confirmed by email, immediately after the order is placed. No other action is required by the customer, unless they wish to amend or cancel the order. If you do wish to amend your order simply email us at bookshop@rias.org.uk or telephone 0131 229 7545

CANCELLATIONS
Customers my cancel their order at any time up to the first 7 days after the order is received. The customer will then be refunded the total price of the goods ordered, less the cost of returning the goods. The refund will be made as soon as possible after the customer cancels, but within 30 days at the latest. Any notification of a wish to cancel an order, must be made in writing, by letter, fax or email.

RETURNS & REFUNDS
In the event that customers wish to return goods which are damaged, incomplete (e.g. missing pages from a book), or incorrect, a complete refund for the goods and the post & packing costs will be provided. We will also bear the full cost of returning the goods, either by refund, or arranging to have the goods collected at our cost. The goods should be returned (with original packaging if possible, along with reasons for return) to:

MISTAKES AND COMPLAINTS
Any mistakes in bills, receipts or payments will be corrected immediately, and at the latest, within 30 days of agreeing to do so. All complaints will be acknowledged within 5 working days, along with notification of the length of time estimated for its resolution. All complaints should be addressed to:

In order to provide you with the best service we can, the RIAS has made it its policy to monitor the use of its websites and collect certain personal information.
When you register to use the website, the RIAS will store your e-mail address along with any other information you may provide. When you use the services on the website, we may need to collect further information about you. This information may include, but is not limited to, details such as your name and address.
