Committee members required for Lothian Valuation Appeal Panel

The Lothian Valuation Appeal Panel hears appeals against the Assessor's intended Council Tax banding or rateable value.  Members are unpaid (apart from travelling expenses, and lunch).
There are about 35 sittings a year, and members select well in advance which dates suit them.  Members are required to attend about 15 sittings a year, and these  are normally finished by lunch time.

The quorum is three members, with a maximum of six. 
No specialist knowledge is required.
